Salvador Oregon-Torres

He/Him/His Dream Center Program Coordinator, University of Utah Dream Center

Salvador Oregon-Torres was born in Guerrero, Mexico and moved to the United States when he was 11 months old. He comes from a mixed-status family which has allowed him to experience an immigrant narrative beyond his own. Before starting his career in higher education, Salvador was working in the non-profit field and worked for non-profits like the Utah Pride Center, Comunidades Unidas, and Craft Lake City to name a few. Salvador enjoys working with diverse populations and empowering them to thrive and make change in whatever space they occupy.
