Saba Ahmed

She/Her Supervising Attorney, Defending the AU Dream Initiative at American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL)

Saba Ahmed is a supervising attorney with AU Dream, which is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL). She provides free immigration legal services to undocumented and noncitizen college students in the DC area. Saba began working with asylum seekers and refugees in Cairo and California fifteen years ago. Saba has represented clients in defensive (deportation proceedings) and affirmative applications before the immigration agencies. Saba has also taught and supervised law students at the University of the District of Columbia School of Law, CUNY Law, and AUWCL.
