Marilyn Kuhar is the Executive Director of the Bunker Hill Community College Foundation, a position she accepted in July 2013 after a 30-year career in fund raising. She has worked in all aspects of development – annual fund, major gifts, corporations and foundations, campaigns and management. Her background includes educational fund raising at Johns Hopkins, MIT and Tufts as well as for the American Cancer Society and the Children’s Defense Fund, organizations focused on service and advocacy. At Bunker Hill, Ms. Kuhar has focused on enhancing the role of private philanthropy in support of student needs.
