Karely is a first-generation undocumented Latina pursuing her MPP at UCLA. She is passionate about advocating for those who are marginalized and hopes to build bridges between policies and communities of color. Karely is an organizer and has been leading the Opportunity For All Campaign at the UC to provide equal access to campus job opportunities to all students, regardless of immigration status. In February 2024, Karely helped introduce CA Bill 2586 - The Opportunity for All Act to advocate for equitable student employment opportunities at the UC, CSU, and CCC levels.
