Jacky Neri Arias is a social justice advocate who supports students and families from historically marginalized backgrounds as they navigate inequitable educational systems. She spent the majority of her career working in college access programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and is an advocate for immigrant communities. She is a formerly undocumented Mexican immigrant, a first-generation college graduate, a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, and a mentor. Jacky grew up in the Chicagoland area in largely Latinx neighborhoods, she earned a BA from Kenyon College and MEd from University of Maryland College Park.
