Jacki Black is the Director of Hispanic Initiatives and Diversity & Inclusion Educational Programming at Marquette University. In this role since 2016, Black leads the Hispanic-Serving Institution initiative, coordinates learning opportunities around inclusive practices for employees & students, and contributes to other campus-wide diversity & inclusion efforts. Black earned a BA in psychology from UChicago, an MA in education from Saint Xavier, and a PhD in educational policy & leadership from MU. Prior to her role at MU, she devoted 15 years to teaching, mentoring, coaching, & advising in Chicago and Milwaukee schools.
