She/Her/Ella Undocumented Student Resource Coordinator, University of Colorado Denver

Estéfani Peña Figueroa (She | Her | Ella) was born in Guatemala and came to the United States when she was 7 years old. As an Undocumented Latina and Educator with the benefits of DACA and first-generation college graduate, she is very passionate about advocating and supporting her immigrant community. She aspires to be part of a welcoming, inclusive, equitable, just, and diverse campus and is committed to centralizing immigrant students' voices and lived experiences. She aims to spread awareness of the resources and services that are available and aims to explore innovative ways to improve programming for immigrant background students.
