Emmanuel is the inaugural Director of the Latinx Center at Governors State University. Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Director of the Latinx Center serves as an integral member of the Student Affairs & Enrollment Management (SAEM) and participates with management to provide leadership and strategic planning, and works collaboratively with campus departments, and advisory committees.
