Daniel Aguilar

Daniel Aguilar, born and raised in Chicago, is the Program Coordinator of Hispanic/LatinX Outreach and is designated as the Undocumented Liasson for the UIS. Daniel received his B.A. and M.A in Political Science from UIS and is currently a Doctoral student in the UIUC Educational Policy and Organizational Leadership program. Daniel has an affinity for being a liaison, mentor, and conduit for traditionally marginalized and historically underrepresented groups. As a first-generation college student and Latino Male, Daniel is determined to support and propel forward the Hispanic/Latinx/e community at UIS and in the greater Springfield Community.
