Daisy Torres-Baez (she/ella/pay) is an educator with a focus on centering invisible communities and identities. She has over 10 years in non-profit and higher education where she has focused on creating inclusive environments, especially for first-gen, Latino, immigrant, LGBTQ, and undocumented students and families. She is pursuing a doctorate through Colorado State University’s Higher Education Leadership program. Her research is on the accompaniment of undocumented graduate students provided by faculty and staff. She identifies as a Peruvian American daughter of immigrants, whose family speaks Quechua and Spanish.
