Christian Espinoza

he/they Claremont Graduate University Ph.D. Student, Claremont Graduate University

As an undocumented educator with over 5 years of professional experience in higher education and education policies, I have dedicated my career to advocating for equitable access to education for all students, regardless of their immigration status. Currently a PhD student, my research focuses on the intersection of education and immigration policies and their impact on undocumented students. My passion for education and advocacy stems from my own experiences navigating the complexities of being an undocumented student. Through my work, I strive to empower and support undocumented students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

Aspirations for this online directory As an advocate for undocumented students, my aspirations for this online directory are to create a comprehensive and accessible resource for undocumented students, educators, and advocates. I hope that this directory will serve as a platform for undocumented students to connect with each other, share resources and information, and build supportive communities of practice. Additionally, I hope that this directory will facilitate collaboration and networking among educators and advocates working to support undocumented students, ultimately leading to more effective and impactful policies and practices in higher education. Overall, my goal is to contribute to creating a more inclusive and equitable higher education system for undocumented students.
