“I’m a Registered Nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital and work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – caring for our sickest children. I graduated from the University of Houston with a dual degree in Science in Nursing and Psychology.”

“I care for the most vulnerable in our community – our sick children. My work has given me the opportunity to grow and give back to my community. As the only person in my family with a college degree and a professional career, I am also able to serve as a role model for my family and others in our community.”

“As an immigrant, I understand that some parents are not comfortable speaking up for themselves – especially if they do not speak English. I am able to translate their needs to the medical team and help them feel valued.”
