Welcome Corps on Campus

Penn State-Harrisburg (C-300 in Olmsted Building)

Welcome Corps on Campus creates new opportunities for higher education institutions and their communities across the country to leverage their campus ecosystems and resources to privately sponsor and support refugee students. Starting this year, colleges and universities can choose to welcome refugee students currently residing abroad in two ways: refer and sponsor specific students to Welcome Corps on Campus and/or be matched with a refugee student selected by the Welcome Corps on Campus. For both of these options, applications for campus sponsor groups interested in welcoming students for the Academic Year 2025-2026 are now open. They will be due May 31, 2024, for those interested in referring and sponsoring a specific student and by September 15, 2024, welcoming a student matched with your campus.

Join us for an in-person convening on Welcome Corps on Campus on Monday, May 13th at 4 pm at Penn State- Harrisburg (C-300 in Olmsted Building). If you are interested in learning more or participating.
