World Learning & SIT TESOL Center

The World Learning and SIT TESOL Center’s brand-new Teaching English to Adult Refugees Certificate Program will train teachers (at any level of their career and even those with no previous teaching experience) to effectively teach English to adult refugees.

Please join our 1-hour interactive webinar where we will share the needs assessment data gathered from over 160 professionals in 80 schools and organizations implementing refugee programming, and discuss how this data will inform the design of our program and curriculum. You will also learn about open education resources you can start using immediately to teach English to refugee literacy-learners.

We will also announce the ten lottery winners who will each be given a free spot in the Fall 2024 certificate program pilot. This webinar is presented by the World Learning SIT TESOL Center in collaboration with Supporting Higher Education in Refugee Resettlement (SHERR) project.

Presenter: Holly Marvin, TESOL Program Specialist.
