This meeting will spotlight the Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR)-NASH Training-of-Trainers Certificate program, which builds the capacity of champions to make their systems and campuses more welcoming and inclusive for refugees. So far, 390 Champions have been trained and certified, representing almost 75 institutions across 10 systems, including the University of Maine System, CUNY, SUNY, and the University of Missouri System.

At this meeting, you will:  

  • Learn about the ECAR-NASH Training-of-Trainers program from the perspectives of trainers and Certified Champions representing campuses within the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metro Area and the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.
  • Understand the value of the training and how to organize one for your system or campus.
  • Gain exclusive insights into how NASH and ECAR are expanding this groundbreaking partnership.
