In 2026, the Presidents’ Alliance convened a working group of practitioners from institutions across the country who were navigating program or role changes affecting services for immigrant and undocumented students. The group met to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and identify considerations that may be helpful to other institutions facing similar transitions.
Drawing on those discussions, this resource summarizes common themes, approaches, and lessons shared by working group participants.
