Emily Goldman

she/her Co-Founder, Jiran, Middlebury College

Emily is an educator and international development professional who co-founded Middlebury College’s Jiran program in 2018. She holds a B.A. in Development Studies and Middle East Studies from Brown University and an Msc in Social Cognition from University College London as a Rotary Global Grant scholar for peacebuilding. Emily has worked on conflict and forced displacement with a number of organizations including IOM, UNRWA, UNICEF, IRC, Generations for Peace, and has served as an interpreter for the US Embassy in Jordan. She is also the International Districts Lead at Khan Academy.
