Belma Sadikovic

Dr. Belma Sadikovic is an educator, researcher, and advocate for refugees on a local and global scale. Dr. Sadikovic served in K12 and higher education for 14 years and has also worked in the nonprofit sector. Currently, she is the consultant for Welcome Corps on Campus. She sits on various boards, including the Bosnian American Genocide Institute and Education Center and Youth Rising. Her research focuses on the educational, socio-economic, and trans-cultural impact of refugee populations in the US. She gave a TedTalk titled “What it feels like to be a refugee”. Dr. Sadikovic is the co-founder of Boise State University’s Refugee Alliance.
